It wouldn't be right to have a list of all the current cars for sale in the UK without having one of the most iconic. LTI stands for London Taxis International, and is the maker of the classic London taxi cab. The style has remained true to the Austin FX4 original model with its coach-built Daimler style. Models are built in Coventry, but there is also an agreement for the Chinese manufacturer Geely Automotive to assemble the cars for its domestic market.

LTI TXII
The LTI TXII came out in 2002 as the long awaited update to the TX1 model that has completely redesigned the classic London Black Cab. It changed the engine from a Nissan diesel unit to a Ford duratorq 2.5 diesel.
LTI TX4
The LTI TX4 is the most recent version of the black cab, launched in 2007, and quite similar in body to the TX2 it replaces. (there was no TX3 model.) The TX4 has a 2.5 diesel motor made by VM Motori diesel, and it has a separate chassis and body.
