Jaguar Logo Jaguar are a well known British brand & luxury car manufacturer, producing iconic cars like the Mk2 and the E-Type, voted most beautiful car of all time. Jaguar has been owned by several different parties, from British Leyland to Ford, and most recently bought by Tata motors, owned By Ratan Tata the Indian steel magnate. It is part of the JLR group, also including Land Rover, with whom they share most of their engines. UK Jaguar models: Jaguar X-Type Jaguar X-Type The Jaguar X-Type is the smallest of the Jaguar range, introduced in 2001 to produce an affordable Jaguar. It was built on the Ford Mondeo chassis, and shared the Ford's engines. It was available with a 2.5 and 3.0 V6 petrol motors and also 2.0 and 2.2 diesels, and a short lived 2.1 V6 petrol engine. Jaguar XF Jaguar XF The Jaguar XF is the newly launched mid size saloon car that has brought in a completely new styling direction for Jaguar, moving it away from the old fashioned retro stying that put off so many younger buyers and towards a new modern look. It competes against the Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5 Series. Jaguar XJ Jaguar XJ The Jaguar XJ is the Flagship saloon of the Jaguar range, and is in its 7th generation. Its looks have been evolutionary and still bears a strong resemblance to the original 60's XJ models. This retro style hides an ultra modern aluminium lightweight monocoque chassis and advanced engines. Jaguar XK Jaguar XK The Jaguar XK is the sports car in the Jaguar range, available with a 5.0 litre V8 engine in either standard normally aspirated or supercharged R form giving 500 horsepower.
